The WS-DAI, WS-DAIR and WS-DAIX specifications have been submitted to
the GGF Editor. The submitted versions and their progress within the
Recommendations Track can be followed at:

https://forge.gridforum.org/tracker/index.php?func=browse&group_id=90&atid=414

We will post to the list in due course to encourage contributions during
the public comment period.

Perhaps this is a suitable moment to thank the many people who have
contributed to the DAIS specification activity over the years; there are
too many to mention here, but hopefully the authorship, contributions
and acknowledgement sections in the specifications provide some
recognition. Specifically, my fellow travellers on the "spec team" that
have been evolving the specifications in recent times have earned an
honourary mention, however. They are:

Mario Antonioletti
Amy Krause
Simon Laws
Susan Malaika

In addition, Dave Pearson has throughout provided a steady hand on the
tiller, and has been important in getting us this far.

This is not quite the end, of course, as the recommendation track has
several steps in it! Associated with these, there are ongoing
activities developing implementations of the specifications (there will
be a presentation on this at GGF16), and if you might be interested in
participating in the process of developing and testing interoperability
across multiple implementations, please let us know. In addition, there
is interest in developing an additional realisation for RDF, for which
we hope there will be a BOF at GGF16.

Regards, Norman
