I've resumed working. My multimeter has alligator clips, which I have
   clipped to jumper wires. It's hard to measure the motor voltages,
   possibly relating to carefully insulating things this time.
   It could help to clip to something else than jumper wires, not sure.
   I could also set the relay on, and measure by holding. This might work.
