I've been trying and failing to integrate codebases since the spacetime
   rift that opened in 2014 and sucked our planet in.
   Most recently, I've found there is an existing mediatek flasher client,
   and I have started one myself. The featuresets and goals of the two
   works are different, but there is a ton of overlap between them.
