I've got it outputting zeros, no gain, as it should. I'm passing
   "direct_samp=1" but haven't checked if it's actually enabled direct
   sampling.
   Next would/will be to cut the pigtail and set up a voltage divider to
   see if it can measure 0.1V or so.
