Given how easy it should be to do an audio or radio/microwave spectrum analysis,
 using a SDR and smartphone, I'm surprised this is still so mysterious.

   Of course, when you are actively being targeted, you are prevented from
   investigating and recording it, and the playing field is global.
   Still, we need more signals logging.
