   we are proposing restarting the story with some but not full protection
   of people who are injured.
   The reason for restarting is so that people can read it without having
   disregarding-of-injury shock, which is an avenue for automated control
   irl.  If characters in the story who protect people regardless of who
   they are have a larger and more effective role, this could be met.
   Also reduces disrespect of Karl who dislikes harm.
   The avenue to have rebellion-joke with care-for-people is to engage how
   hard it is to defend victims, as humor.
