   The above story successfully helped me do very rote behaviors near my
   goal of removing the radios from a phone I have for learning with.  I
   failed to get a battery for my dremel saw.  I'm trying to practice
   cutting the shielding off the radio chips.
   I used to always keep such a phone.

   A borg simulacrum sat in front of a desktop computer for an online
   class in AI alignment.  They turned to a neighboring simulacrum, and,
   speaking in patterns copied from videos of their host bodies, spoke:
   "Did you know, it turns out if you don't spend two decades studying
   math before letting self-modifying software run on its own, it builds
   my heart?  Like, every single time, in a whole slew of well-understood
   ways."
   They turned back to their class and kept reading.
