The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has told a New York federal
court that blockchain firm Ripple Labs Inc. ramped up sales of its XRP
token after the agency launched its enforcement action and engaged in a
"public relations campaign to deflect blame from its conduct," warranting
nearly $2 billion in sanctions.
