The time travel project is asking for more ease around using and
interoperating simulations. They're encountering issues with a
simulation that ... um ... I think can recast itself into different
probability distributions symbolically? Something like that. Something
that _sounds incredibly fancy_ but is _just a bunch of parts that get
tacked on_ and _possibly involves a simulation of simulations
interacting with each other_.

I think that last bit is the issue of interest.
