possible reality note:
the reasons inhibitions happen are likely fenerally not the reasons
they feel like, at least for me. more likely they are reasons held as
strong somewhere in the world, and then someth8ng 8n me demonstrates
similarity to it, and the 8nhbition engages in case the similarity is
the other strong reason
it can be hard to stay conscious of that. it’s nonintuitive that e.g.
building a shielded room could be inhibited simply because foreign
spies try to do it or something. not you being mind controlled by a
foreign nation, but simply foreign spies have reason to do this, and
nobody else usually does. nobody cares if you build a shielded room to
protect peaceful community. maybe a poor example. pretty hard to think
about these things. there may be much better examples on a
moment-to-moment basis i imagine.
