i tried to register at the analog.com free chip samples website
it didn't like me using an @gmail.com domain

i am privileged to have an academic email address from an electronic
engineering degree i started attempting to pursue, intending to work
on public electromagnetic security

i tried my academic address and it let me register. needs confirmation email.

no confirmation email yet which is strange. i got a confirmation email
to that address from another website recently, quite quickly.
