karl’s half-delusional opinion:

- not finding source code for opera so it’s not easy to verify
anything independently
- the advertisement doesn’t back its claims of p2p in any way, in an
ecosystem rife with centralized gateways

- is in the same kettle of fish
as ethereum and polygon, so likely it’s quite easy for them to be as
p2p as ethereum and polygon apps are (does polygon do real p2p or fake
p2p i don’tt remember?)
- site content is purportedly based on ipfs so the same is true of
content and the ipfs ecosystem

unfortunately with the browser closed source that doesn’t sound like
much incentive for opera to contribute technology back to the
ecosystems so they check out

web browsers 0_0 soon to be in competition with ai assistants
