Honestly here I would agree with the expression that we need clear,
rational dialog.

If there is strong influence going on, maybe it would help to consider
how our assumptions or impact relate to the influence, so as to be
more rational alongside any influence rather than offer rationality as
territory to be contested. Not sure.
