Telecoms have simply pocketed mass sums from every
broadband buildout subsidy since day one of the internet.

The answer isn't to vote for more of them and their failure,
but to tell them all to fuck off, keep their tax theiving grubby
hands off your money, then use those saved monies to go
build yourselves your own p2p fiber and internet access.
It's not hard, it's a lot less expensive for you in the long run,
and is actually fun, and you meet people too.
