I ran into a schoolkid online recently who said they were good at
math. I asked them if they were into computer programming (we were in
a transformer model bot room). They said "no, I don't have a job yet,"
and my heart sank.

I started computer programming in the second grade, for fun. I even
remember it a little bit.
