each of these approaches has a problem

1. debugging and fixing issue, my preference
  - likely takes too long to succeed at task before having amnesia
without extra willpower
2. purchasing bluetooth dongle, possibly more reliable
  - also takes too long before having amnesia, without extra willpower
3. using different system
  - i'm not sure what other system to use.
4. finding an existing 'bled' dongle.
  - i'm not sure where these dongles are.
