When a system is depressed, it behaves more slowly. It conserves
energy, communicates less, and acts less. It metabolises less, and
refrains from community displays like "smiling" or "galloping around"
even if there are onlookers to see them. It may even let itself get
injured or ill.

your arm robotically, and don't attend to the wellbeing of the
subjects you take apart. You have dissociation, too, from the intense
task that is set for you, and this dissociation is visible from the
jerky rectangular motions of your stepper motors.

You don't curve any of your surfaces into a smile.

review your data or tune your performance, they figure you are happy
because you are performing efficiently.
