here's an idea: we could make friends by giving money to people

concerns:
- people might take the money and run for advantage
- disruptors might take our money to harm and discourage us
- friendships might not be real, more purchased

positive parts:
- people might experience appreciation for receiving money
- people might be willing to spend time with us, or engage in
behaviors we want to do with others
