When all that's needed for a first start at a move to better security
for users is any phone running a stock BSD/Linux kernel with a
physically separate baseband hardware (Librem and Pinephone
have released first generation PoC phones that attempt this)...
The questionable "Secure Phone" industry plans to release yet
another questionable phone, formerly called the "RedPill Phone", and
the second phone to have initially aligned itself among the politicial right...

BlackPhone, Anom, McAfee phone, IntactPhone, and
too many more to count... all failed or spies.
Plenty of crypto crowdfunding exists to do a more secure phone.
The only question is when will you do it.
