	I delete 97% of his messages. I don't think much about him, but when I do, I actually think about the other subscribers to the list.

	I tend to think you understand better than you seem to, yes. Maybe you're trying your non-conflict (sorry I dont recall the actual name) technique/theory, and in that case my comment is that you're likely wasting your time.
