Comments like this reinforce the need to respect and defend the actual
institutions we have, as imperfect as they are.  He's accused me, without
evidence -- or even any statement of what supposed law I broke -- of being
a criminal.  We all need to push back on this kind of anti-democratic,
anti-justice language whenever we see it.  It's fine to disagree; it's fine
to call the cops on me for whatever you think it is I've done.  But to
basically assert judgement without any investigation or process is to
demonstrate a complete disinterest in justice itself.  There's too much of
that going on; silent people need to push back on this corrosive tactic.
