An instruction room in the headquarters, with a puddle of organs holding a
long stick at the front.  Assorted diverse people sit.  An old film
projector is in the middle, projecting a large holographic chart behind the
puddle of organs.

At the top the chart is the title "Separating Layered Hyperintelligences".

The chart shows two 3d fractals, some parts smooth, some parts highly
fragmented, wrapped around each other but not touching.  Small arrows point
normal to the interfaces between the fractals.

Underneath the chart is a blurb: "No matter how smart you are, you settle
into patterns of choice.  These can be grown apart and isolated, or
subsumed."
