Innocent victim walks up to their front door with a key.

A vicious phantom sidles alongside them.

"So." says the phantasm.  "I hear you lock your door."

 The phantom attacks the victim!  They steal the key and break down the
door!

Standing over the broken body of the victim, the phantom screams to the
skies:
"It is against the law to have a lock on your front door!  Locks prevent
your government from spying on you!"
Thunder clashes and the wind blows like from a hurricane.  Dark
monstrosities course from the edges of the phantom.

The phantasm stomps on the victim and runs off with their keys and their
lock, both.
