I went to defcon once and learned there about rtl-sdr.com .  When I
copypasted the article that advertised low-end products, my suffering
reduced.  It was nice, it was a topic I like.  I want to buy them!

I looked for other recent articles, maybe mentioning some of ettus's
full-spectrum products, didn't find that but I did find a current
article from hackaday.com where somebody had run their own weather
satellite, and used an SDR to pretend to be a fake sensor and give
fake data.  My suffering increased when I began to share this, and I
ended up deciding not to.
