i mean, this does happen, people become government shills after their
government destroys their life and enslaves them, but on reading
another thread here i think jim bell distinguishes between corps and
governments.

yeah corp surveillance is crummy too though.  i don't really
understand the practical difference.  different available approaches
for influencing things, i'm thinking.
