Do you speak code?

I want to send you a half-joke, but I don't know if you're a programmer.

Here it is in English:

James and Karl walk into a bar. They sit down at a table, the
bartender notices them and indicates he'll be right there.

"So," says Karl. "I wanted to get involved in some of the discussions
around protecting some of the oppressed beliefs going on. The beliefs
of say people who hate Black people, or want the only way to survive
to be working a job. Thing is I don't know any of these people well,
and don't really know their stories. In social justice circles, we
share the stories of people so that others can understand and respect
them. We could make sure people all get the college acceptances, tax
breaks, etc that they really deserve."

James flips the table upside down. "Are you upset?" asks Karl.
"Nah," replies James. The bartender nods understandingly.

"What did I say?" Karl asks.

The bartender walks over,
"You really don't understand this guy at all. Have you read anything
he's written? Have you looked at any of the media his people spread?"

"Well, no .... I don't have that much time ..." Karl responded.
"People with these beliefs are appearing out of nowhere and expressing
stuff! People are getting hurt! They say their people are getting
hurt too! Don't we need to talk?"

The bartender kicks Karl and James out of the bar.

"We respect the boundaries of establishments here, friends. I
certainly won't be fighting alongside people who don't respect my
bar."
