That is at the point of "grass roots activism" - if your arguments, ideas, positions, beliefs,  gain traction with your local "elected officials", then perhaps your ideas will gain traction unelected normies.

Convert your neighbour.

Encourage/ groom your NPC in the ways of sanity.


Folks need to break the bullshit that government/elected "humans" are any different to your-s-elf - it might seem really really odd to some, but at last check, we are all human and elected humans appear to have no superpowers.

There is no shortcut.

We must build those relationships - YES with our local elected officials, YES with our neighbours, YES with those with whom we share interests.

Speak to these people. Speak to the world. Share our truth. And on difficult topics, the challenge is to find pathways to begin conversations which are gentle enough for yourself and your listener/ discourser, such that the convo does not get immediately shut down.
