Pirate Bay abandons Cyberbunker ISP

After receiving criticism from fans that TPB not be associated with
crooks or royal kooks a business decision was made and the Cyberbunker
plug pulled. The Pirate Bay is currently offline but is expected to
rise again out of the Cyberbunker asses.




German Court rules against Pirate Bay ISP.

an order against the dutch owner of CB3ROB to stop service to the
Pirate Bay, The article in the register assumed wrongly that CB3ROB is
a German ISP. It's not. It's dutch. Sven Olaf Kamphuis, aka Count Olaf

I used to work at the Cyberbunker with Sven so here's some history on it.

The Cyberbunker hosting facility referred to in the story is a former
cold war military installation in the Netherlands. It is now owned by
a Herman Johan Xennt (formerly Herman Johan Verwoert-Derksen aka
Xennt). Xennt is a convicted felon in the Netherlands. He was arrested
years ago on drug traffic charges for manufacturing ecstasy in the
bunker and tax evasion. Sven Olaf Kamphuis was also arrested on the
same drug charges. Kamphuis is known to the Dutch police for hacking
several government computer systems.

Shortly after Xennt purchased the bunker he declared the property
independent of the Netherlands, named it the Republic of Cyberbunker
and installed himself as a constitutional monarchy. Kamphuis aka Count
Olaf is a minister in King Xennt's Government. More information on the

Incidentally the Cyberbunker is full of bunnies. This is a video I

That was the one nice thing Xennt had to his character. He cared for
stray animals like bunnies. Beyond that he is a reprehensible con
artist who has destroyed families and stolen their life savings. I've
met a few of these victims.

I support the Pirate Bay but I am concerned it's hosted by criminals

The UnifiedRoot is an attempt to revive the Public-Root i.e. see
www.public-root.com and www.inaic.com. I am the founder of the
Public-Root and by default the business principles subscribed too by
the UnifedRoot. I declare the people behind the UnifiedRoot as
fraudulent and associated with criminals. A good history of the
UnifiedRoot and it's association with the Public-Root is unfortunately
only available in Turkish. urkey was a country which subscribed to the
Public-Root system, until my investigation closed the show down. The
UnifiedRoot is an attempt by the commercial end to go it alone - good
details on this unfortunately are only available in Turkish. There has
not been an english language publication which has exposed this. But

The Public-Root/UnifiedRoot was a great idea until a few people
destryed it due to the usual human frailties - greed being the primary
one. Also the UnifiedRoot claims to be open, transparent,
representative and bottom up. Those are just marketing words without

The Law of Protocol - The failure of governments to take control of
the Internet is based on a simple flaw in their logic. They have no
idea what it is they are trying to take control of. They do not
understand that the Internets operation depends on protocols that
facilitate communication. These protocols have a basic set of rules
built into their design. They give complete control of the
communications process to the end users.

So the answer to the question "who controls the Internet" is simple
enough - YOU DO! Yes - YOU - the web surfer. Surprised? Of course it
can also be argued successfully today that Paul Vixie is in charge of
the Internet and no one has figured that out yet.

Let hope he does not highjack it again!

To take back control we must first recognize this basic fact - that
control of the Internet is in the hands of 500 million end users. So
don't piss them off is the first rule to governments who want to share
control with their users.
