Well, Bitcoin price has increased more-or-less exponentially, since the
beginning. With occasional boom and bust cycles on top of that trend.
The most notable booms have started on the following dates. I've also
noted the time since the previous boom start.

late Apr-2011		
mid Mar-2013	~23 months
late Oct-2013	~7 months
mid May-2014	~7 months
late May-2016	~25 months
late Dec-2016	~7 months
mid Feb-2017	~2 months
