Quite ambitious, the “one true path”. I’m not quite sure I agree buying a 486 and optimizing 
the Linux kernel for it (its already well optimized for all the x86 platforms anyway) is a good 
way to spend valuable time... if you want to hack the kernel, there are much more interesting 
things... just my humble opinion heh ;)
