I keep waiting for someone to market or at least setup a god how to guide on making a do-it-yourself stingray with OpenBTS + asterisk + whatever...  the only big problem that i see right now is some of the hardware requirements (the SDR, the radio) is expensive, to get a good working OpenBTS install. Old analog scanners modified to pick up 800mhz aren't of much use these days... but OpenBTS way cooler anyway.

And i'm saving up my shekels ;)
