This law doesn't make any sense as a state law. How in the
h-e-double-hockey-sticks would New York state establish jurisdiction
over me, in Texas, with a blog hosted in Arizona (Phoenix specifically),
but writing *about* someone who lives in New York?

The gooey mess of establishing jurisdiction is the least of the
problems, of course; this law is going to be struck down like a cow
standing on railroad tracks[1] by any court who looks at the First
Amendment and sees a complete conflict. (Hamburger, anyone?)
