Two of the earliest important contributors to computer science are distinguished women:

Ada Lovelace and Grace Hopper

No doubt James Donald would claim they stole all their work from men, were sluttish whores, and should've been married off as child brides at their fathers whim. 

I disagree, and i'm sure Byron did too (no clue who Graces dad was..)
