All the propaganda about war with NK prompted me to finally learn
something about Korean history.  I learned that the reason I did not
know much is that post WWII Korean history is not fit for for U.S.
public consumption:  It's the story of a U.S. colony "protected" from
Commie labor unions by various atrocities.  I did not even know that
South Korea remained U.S. property until 1988.
