Considering his professional background, it seems unlikely that Mr.
Putin would consider such a thing to be possible.  If such a demand
has been made possible reasons include demonstrating that it can't be
done.  The laughably short deadline suggests an effort to "keep the
story alive" in public view for some propaganda purpose.
