this is very concerning on its face, but one more data point in favor of
its being a temporary glitch is that I subscribe to their email list, and
got an email from them this morning around 9am about additions to their end
of the Soviet Union archive.although if one wanted to be paranoid, that is
a more "interesting" subject these days than it was last year.
