Belief makes people stupid, in the sense that it makes them think in
circles as necessary to support the belief.  I do not "believe" that
someone ratted Chelsea out, but I do consider it very likely.  In part
because of the time that passed between the first, exceptionally
damaging public release of Manning's material, and the arrest - some
time after the third exceptionally damaging release.
