Oh come on, really? Do you know /anything/ about the cypherpunk
movement? Have you read the older archives of this list? Have you even
read the /newer/ archives of this list?

In most cases, governments (not just the USG) are diametrically
opposed to /everything/ that cypherpunks stand for. The fact that
you're surprised that this list is anti-gov is kind of laughable.
