Allegedly Volkswagen cheated to both governments and lusers

There's no "allegedly". The company fully admitted to this and even expanded the scope beyond the EPA's suspicions, IIRC.

Roll on enforced code audits, preferably enforced code openness, for all devices that can negatively screw society.
