Truecrypt was cross-platform. BitLocker isn't. LUKS isn't. Whatever
MacOS X uses isn't. Until and unless there are GPL/BSD licensed versions
of BitLocker for MacOS X, GNU/Linux, etc then they aren't true
replacements for Truecrypt.
