Sometimes I think about unsubscribing from cpunks because of comments
like these and other long-winded nonsense threads. But after reading the
latest piece from The Intercept
(https://firstlook.org/theintercept/2014/02/24/jtrig-manipulation/) I've
got a feeling that some of the trolls on here are deliberate, hopefully
driving us to unsubscribe:

  "One of the many pressing stories that remains to be told from the
  Snowden archive is how western intelligence agencies are attempting to
  manipulate and control online discourse with extreme tactics of
  deception and reputation-destruction."

  "Among the core self-identified purposes of JTRIG are two tactics: (1)
  to inject all sorts of false material onto the internet in order to
  destroy the reputation of its targets; and (2) to use social sciences
  and other techniques to manipulate online discourse and activism to
  generate outcomes considers desirable."

Mass-unsubscribes because of some of the previous hate-threads sounds
like one of those "desirable outcomes". So instead of complaining like
Sampo did, "don't feed the trolls" as it could all be part of some
JTRIG/HB Gary/Palantir campaign. Just mark-as-read and move on.
