These days, they *should* call this thing "Statists Depriving Freedom
and
Privacy", or, better, "Statists Think The State Creates Computers,
Freedom,
and Privacy".

Statists talking to statists about legislating computers, freedom, and
privacy, which is equivalent to statists talking to statists about
legislating food.

Or air. Or sunshine.

Order emerges from freedom; freedom does *not* emerge from order.

It is impossible to command people to be free at the point of a gun,
though
free people can and do *defend* their freedom with guns, every day, all
over the world.

"Network neutrality", whatever *that* means, *emerges* from the
physics of
semiconductors, the topology of the networks driven by those
semiconductors, and the protocols of information transmission used on
those
networks.

It is not "permitted" by legislation.

Neither are computers. Or is Privacy. Or Freedom.

Cheers,
RAH
