25x faster RFIDs

Infineon has just released new RFID silicon
with 25x the speed. Available in quantities
starting 2004.

It's 13.56 MHz (Phase Jitter Modulation, 8 channels),
and can read up to 500 tags/s (limit hitherto 30 tags/s).
No idea about the package size nor the reading range.
