It is evil because the naive user doesn't see all the ramifications, in
regards to longterm abuse, and he's not exactly being told. Plus, the
naive users are being used as attack platforms against nonnaive users as
far as interoperability is concerned.
This is evil, and some pretty strongly worded high profiled debunking is
needed.
