Microsoft against legally mandated DRM?

Not so much against legal mandates as against a specific mandate.
In otherwords, they don't want to be trapped by something that
might fail.  They need the option to force people to buy new
stuff all the time.

I did like the comment about telling Hollywood to get into the
distribution game.  But that's because it's my bias :-)
