Why not euthanize every single human being on the planet by lethan 
injection.  It would be almost painless - just a prick of the needle, and
they would never again feel any pain ever.  After all, that would fit your
socialist goals. :)  There's no better plan for achieving the least pain
for the greatest number according to your rantings.
