[apps-rg] Fwd (kielmann at cs.vu.nl): Notes from the APPS-RG meeting at GGF14

Following up on the meeting notes, I would like to emphasize that we
need to make a decision about a GGF15 workshop within a week or so.

Proposed topics are:

> - industry apps
> 
> - managing large scale operations
> 
> - from early adopters to mainstream use
> 
> - measuring the benefits from grid-enabling
> 
> - 'eye opening applications' from various (not just industry) apps?

Any opinions on this? Any other good suggestion?
Are there "burning issues" for apps out there that could be addressed
on such a workshop?
