Hi CypherPunk, Thanks for running this service, the world really needs more decentralised services. However, as your server is using a DNS name, have you considered publishing the certificate (or its hash) in DNSSEC-DANE records? It would give me a second avenue of verifying your certificate. This mail being the first. Regard, Guido.

On the server-side: https://xmpp.net/result.php?id=18229 Even ignoring the self-signed cert, it only gets a C, since TLS is not supported (only SSLv3 is supported) On the client-side: https://xmpp.net/result.php?id=18231 Please upgrade your Java instance, and then disable weak ciphers: http://docs.oracle.com/javase/7/docs/technotes/guides/security/jsse/JSSERefG... http://blog.eyallupu.com/2012/11/how-to-overriding-java-security.html Thanks. -- Pranesh Prakash Policy Director, Centre for Internet and Society T: +91 80 40926283 | W: http://cis-india.org ------------------- Access to Knowledge Fellow, Information Society Project, Yale Law School M: +1 520 314 7147 | W: http://yaleisp.org PGP ID: 0x1D5C5F07 | Twitter: https://twitter.com/pranesh_prakash
