Until... #OpenHW is printed on #OpenFabs all under #OpenAudit ...all of it inspectable by anyone whenever the fuck they want, then you will continue to enjoy absolutely zero trust. All of this NSA and other fake news and secrecy is just bullshit noise to distract and cover up the exploits hiding in those billions of gates, all connected to the internet. Cryptocurrency $illionaires can start up these #Projects along with any old school $ turned visionary, and make massive first mover profits. Open verifiable trust has immense uncaptured market value. Here's another $11B worth of secrets and lies... https://www.reuters.com/article/us-israel-intel-idUSKCN1PM2GT Wake up.

at this point the self parody is almost too ridiculous to even bother comenting. Almost. So, why is it that a worthless piece of human shit like "NSA's eugene myers" is allowed to 'contribute' to FOSS ?

Of course it's humorous. The nature of freedom in relation to different things is often self evident, and of course the CoreBoot guys are free to take or not take the code from the NSA. Notwithstanding all the shirtfruckery, access to the code in this case may result Intel's hardware backdoors being less open to the world/ more restricted to just Intel and the NSA/CIA etc. And may also result in more locked down hardware black boxes to run NetFlix "safely" minimising the right of the masses to record and replay.
