She IS an employee, and the bennies are world class, so she does. There are people (no more interested in shutting the MACHINE down than Clinton) who would oppose that plan for her leadership of the US and they will pounce on every opportunity to weaken her chances. Including the fact that she's an old lady and the grueling business of campaigning, no less running the MACHINE might be beyond her physical capacity. Some weeks ago there was a flap over her "slipping on the ice" going up some steps in a couple of widely circulated press photos. I looked up Hillary's speech venues to place her in a town and the weather websites did the rest: No ice. No overnight freeze, mild daytime temperatures consistent with the clothing worn by all present, shadows indicated the sun at least 30 degrees above the horizon.

That's when I started paying attention: Why the lie? H. Rottendamn Clinton is an Old Lady on a grueling speaking tour, she stumbled, so what?

The closer one looks, the worse the story gets. I don't know whether to wish her a speedy recovery or to be afraid, very afraid because that would hand her a certain football to play with.
